Not ALL hoof problems or lameness issues can be 'fixed'. Many can be worked with to correct & make the horse more comfortable and as sound as possible. Many serious hoof pathologies and deformities such as Founder, Laminitis, Navicular Syndrome, long toes, low heels & contracted heels can be corrected over time using corrective barefoot trimming, & simple lifestyle changes. The key to keeping your horses hooves healthy is to keep them on a 6 - 8 week trimming or shoeing schedule. Diet, nutrition and environment also play a major role in the health of your horses feet.
